APPEARANCE

Carthis is a 5'5" (167cm) transmasculan character with a lithe build. His left side (including his eye, ear, arm, and leg) is robotic, his hair is long and wild, and his general demenour is one of cocky thrill. His pale skin makes the explosive residue easy to see, often giving him a dirty overall appearance, despite his unusually nice clothes. Carthis also has a gold fang on his left side, which is always visible (it's a bit big for his mouth!).

When drawing him, make sure to emphasize his hair & expression the most. His body is more akin to Scratch's than most of the round/blobby characters in the show. Use and upside-down triangle to plot out his shoulders and chest if you find yourself struggling.

Much like the model sheet of Robotnik by Milton Knight: DRAW EXPRESSIVE, NOT WELL! Make whatever parts bigger or louder as needed. Make sure his tooth is made clear, as it can easily be lost in the rest of the mouth. Also like that model sheet, Carthis is not a straight villain: he's an eccentric demolisionist that loves making things go BOOM! Mix Bugs and Wiley Coyote together and you've got a pretty good idea of how he acts.

BIO

Carthis is a demolitionist in title only. They're a chaotic, rotten sort that loves to go BOOM. He's constantly getting himself into trouble by trying to create bigger and bigger explosions, using all sorts of strange and illegal compounds.

Unfortunately for Robotnik, he's the only person on Mobius with the equipment Carthis needs for his "demolition work."

RELATIONSHIPS

SONIC He's a headache for the blue blur, but not much else. Carthis has all the makings of a genuinely frightening villain, but is to obsessed with himself and his desires to cause any real damage (besides property damage, of course). It's a constant "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!" with this guy.

TAILS Tails thinks he's a freak, but Carthis doesn't seem to mind the fox. In fact, he likes taking a mentor roll and trying to teach Tails how to blow things up.

DR. IVO ROBOTNIK Infuriated beyond belief, Robotnik is forced to constantly deal with both the ineptitute of Scratch, Grounder, & Coconuts, who can't keep a fish in a barrel of water. Carthis gets into his base on a weekly basis, either to "ask for" or to steal the supplies he needs for his bombs. Sometimes Robotnik tries to use that explosive enthusiasm to his advantage, but it mostly just ends up blowing up in his face.

SCRATCH & GROUNDER They're rightly terrified of being blown up. Carthis, meanwhile, loves a good couple of doormats.

COCONUTS Carthis wants to turn him into a bomb. Coconuts is unsure how he'd do this, but doesn't want to take the risk of letting him pull it off.
